Can Colorado single-handedly Nix Utah's Invite?

The PAC-10 requires unanimous support for expansion.

So, if the 10 PAC schools want to add Utah, but Colorado, for whatever reason, says no, does that mean no deal?

Maybe not, if the Buffs don't get a vote yet. I guess they might not have any say until July 1st, 2011 or 2012. Same may go with Boise State in the MWC.

Why would Colorado nix the deal for Utah??? I would think Colorado wants Utah to come on board.

I would venture a guess that since they don't officially become part of the conference for two years they don't yet have a voice in the matter.

Legally, CU gave their conference their notice early enough to where they can play in the PAC in 2011

Utah still has till Sep 1st to give theirs.
