Mars''Former Cougar Jonathan Tavernari made the all-star game at the Adidas-sponsored "Eurocamp" for pro prospects earlier this month in Treviso, Italy. Tavernari emerged from that camp with professional offers in Spain, Italy, Belgium, Germany Turkey and Israel. Pacers GM Larry Bird was in Treviso, and Tavernari worked out for the Pacers in Indianapolis yesterday. The Pacers and Portland Trail Blazers have looked into bringing Tavernari in as a summer league player. Meantime, JT leaves for Brazil later this month as he plays for national "B" team in preparation for national "A" team tryouts; the "A" squad will represent Brazil at the World Championships this summer in Turkey.
