...if the MWC "powers" + Boise were to join these teams under the umbrella of the Big 12 (sorry SDSU and WYO, you're not invited), rather than inviting them into the MWC, would the Big 12 TV contract still be in force? Could the "revamped" Big 12 still hold onto that contract?



There's something to consider should the $^#^@ hit the fan.

I'm sure there are clauses in the Big 12's TV and bowl contracts spells out what happens if teams leave the conference.



Just like how the Holiday and Cotton Bowls were no longer obligated to the WAC after the MWC schools left.
