I just heard...

...That the Big XII Presidents have been up all night trying to decide what to do. And tomorrow afternoon, they will officially invite Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, and Utah to join the Big XII.

All scrambling for something to write about... in order to keep Cougar Corner a reliable source of factual information, I think we all ought to take a bit of a summer break and focus on... well, the earlier mentioned facts....

PS. In order to substantiate credibility, you might want to follow through after saying: "I just heard...." with the source of where you're hearing things...

I just can't wait to see where it all falls and to rub it in to the cocky SOB yewt fans at work that they are not going to the PAC 10 disspite what the "credible" coaches told them!

How about a PAC-16/MWC relegation agreement? Each season the bottom three teams in the PAC-16 are relegated to the MWC and the top three teams in the MWC are promoted to the PAC-16?

I heard it from a friend, who heard it from a friend whose dad once played the NCAA Football game, and he said he heard it from MARS that this is all true.

Say why does the Big 12 make a move to get the Arizona, ASU, UCLA, USC and make their Big 16. There is a shot that they could get those schools and not lose their own. Wouldn't that be funny if the PAC10 got raided in return? Then what woudl they do?

Why stop at 16?

Why not form a MEGA confernce!

Get a 64 team conference with 6 divisions with the winners of each division going to the BCS bowls and some esoteric formula where you can invite one of the rest of the 60 or so schools to join in.

oh wait, this sounds so familiar somehow....
