Hypothetical situation for you all. Slow BYU news day so why not stir up a conversation.



Say the Big 10(11) expands to 14 or 16 and takes Missouri and Nebraska from the Big 12 and whatever teams they want from the Big East.

Then the SEC gobbles up Texas and Oklahoma. So basically, the Big 12 is gutted. Now, the Big 12 invites BYU. Do you go to a gutted Big 12 that may struggle to retain BCS status? or do you stay in the Mountain West and try and get BCS status?



Which is better, the MWC (with or without Boise St) or a gutted Big 12?

I don't see any of the big conferences losing their BCS status. If ACC and the Big East are safe, a gutted "biggie" will be safe, imo.
