The new NCAA president... Good or bad for us non-BCS?

University of Washington's president Mark Emmert is officially the new NCAA president.

The NCAA found its new president in the same place it got its last one - the university administration office.

Now, college sports' largest governing body is hoping Mark Emmert can be just as effective. Mark Emmert takes over as NCAA president for Myles Brand, who died last September of pancreatic cancer.

The University of Washington president became the NCAA's top executive on Tuesday, ending the search for Myles Brand's successor that began in November.

Anyone know anything of this homeboy... Is he a typical PAC-10 tree huggin' hippie, for gay marriage, all about abortion-type???



AND most important of all...



Is he against or for the BCS(playoffs)???
