What Draft picks have shocked you???

What Draft picks have shocked you, or you can't believe a team picked a certain player, and why???



First off for me... The Denver Bronco's picks have kinda shocked me.



First off... I'd have to say I'm shocked Denver traded up with New England and Baltimore to get TWO FIRST ROUND picks! The reason is, because the price tag that come with first round picks. Denver has two big contracts to make in the near future.



Their picks:

First Round - 22nd Pick(from New England) - Demaryius Thomas, WR, Georgia Tech -- I'm not shocked with him, cause he might be the fastest WR on their team now, and they need a good one with Brandon Marshall leaving for greener grass.



First Round - 25th Pick(from Baltimore) - Tim Tebow, QB, Florida -- Probably the biggest surprise in everyone's opinion. I personally think there were some better QB's to pick instead of Tebow. I like the guy and what he stands for, but just shocked.



Second Round - 45th Pick - Zane Beadles, Guard, :utard: frUTES -- I think this was a stupid call on Denver! Way to high of a pick for a Guard that I believe isn't NFL caliber-type. Especially when they have needs in other areas. PLUS... He's a frickin' frUTE :utard: frUTE!



Third Round - 80th Pick - J.D. Walton Center, Baylor -- I think this is a pretty solid pick in my opinion. Need to have a good center with a new QB.



Third Round - 87th Pick(ANOTHER from Philly) - Eric Decker, WR, Minnesota -- Another WR??? Seems to be a solid pick, but another WR is kinda strange to me. That's why I'm not an NFL coach... I don't know what to get.



There are other things that have shocked me, but this is the biggest surprise for me overall.

My biggest surprise--Clausen before McCoy. I thought ego issues would drop Clausen to the late third, early fourth since he's been showing all the character of Ryan Leaf. I didn't think McCoy's size would drop him that far either. I just figured GMs would have learned their lesson from Brees, but old habits die hard. Either that or there are more question marks with the shoulder than we thought.

I'm surprised about the Misi pick. Not only that it was so early, but because he's going as a LB and Daryl Washington from TCU was still on the board.



The other pick was the WR from Appalachian State. He must be a stud for a Div II player to go so high

Something I thought was pretty cool though, FoxSports had Colt McCoy ranked 85th in the draft and he was taken with the 85th pick.

Armanti Edwards was the QB who shocked Michigan a few years back. I guess winning the Payton Award two years in a row bodes well for his athleticism and ability as a receiver.

Towards the tail-end of the 5th round.



I'm shocked that five :utard: have been drafted: Koa Misi, Zane Beadles, Robert Johnson, David Reed(who I thought would be a free agent), and Stevenson Sylvester.
