What NASA Means to America's Future

I think I've seen this guy on the History Channel. He's right on here. Although I don't approve of the way the government spends a lot of its money, space is "where heroes are made." America, without NASA, has no culture of exploration. Space and deep sea are the last frontiers for human exploration, and we're going to give it up for 30 pieces of silver in the entitlement coffers.
It's been disappointing to see America flounder in the low-earth orbit trap for so long. I was excited in the early 2000s when manned space flight to Mars was on the radar. Now we're talking about stopping space exploration altogether.
Sad.
