Interesting note on '10 recruiting class

Alani Fua is getting married relatively soon so obv no mission plans in the near future (his fiance is miss pebble beach)

Jake Heaps/Ross Apo have stated that they likely will not go on missions



obviously Keoshian. Philips, Fabuluje, Gaines, Johnson, Tushaus, Quezada won't be going on missions (they aren't LDS)



I wonder if Bronco has ever (or will ever) have so many stud players that should play from freshman to senior year with such continuity.



throw in all the contributing RMs that are back or will be getting back in the next 2 years and by the time this class hits their jr. and sr. years we might have deepest and most experienced team in BYU history.

I'm stoked for BYU's future! I can't wait to see how awesome we will be. Our first season will begin by clicking on all cylinders and next season we'll start our BCS journey by beating Texas. The first of many BCS journeys. *fingers crossed*



Not to jump ahead... I'm stoked to see what type of success we'll have this season. Since we're reloading... I bet we'll finish with a better record than Utah did when they replaced(or reloaded, depending on who you talk to) their players lost to graduation.

I think 2012 will be the year. Many of the young 2010 recruits will redshirt this year, be raw next, but come 2012, we will be ready to go. I;d love to go down to Texas and win in Austin, but considering Texas has had top 3 recruiting classes over the last several years, it is highly unlikely. If it were a neutral field game, perhaps. 2012 is our year.

I believe he is, but no mission plans. I believe it was his Mormon connection that brought him to a BYU camp where he met and became friends with Heaps which led to his decommittal from Texas and committal to BYU.

I'm a little confused on Tayo Fabuluje. Grew up LDS, hasn't been active since he was a little kid, lives with active Mormons, but has no mission plans. Is that correct?

What I think is that it doesn't matter if you have a top 25 or top 5 class. I think the talent level in all those classes is so close that it comes down to coaching, character, and committment to team. I think we beat them in all three of those areas so I see us as being favored to win. Look at the talent that we have had (top 40 and 50 classes) and how well we have done and now imagine having top 25 classes and what we will be like. Kinda gives ya goose bumps. 8)
