Denver

So, the company might be sending me to work in Denver. Job would be downtown.



Anyone have input/advice on places to live in the area? We'd like some property (at least .25 acres), good schools, manageable commute, etc. I lived in the Longmont area until I was 10, so I'm kind of partial to the North side of town, but that's completely nostalgic and I could be easily swayed.

I have a son in Centennial. They live in an addition with smaller lots, but there is a lot of space around them with other additions that have larger lots. It is a really pretty area, and a good ward. The EQ pres. is a great guy.

I love the Denver area, but it's a little bit too expensive for what I do. I don't have any real good input, but make sure to get out to an outlaws game at Mile High during the summer, you'll be hooked.

I was looking into Denver based on a job that looked interesting. I'm not sure how much of a commute is too far, but Evergreen has good schools and is out in the hills west of Denver. I believe it is a 30 minute or so commute. The schools in Denver are open enrollment, but only if there are slots available. You have to apply and hope you get in to the better schools unless you are living within that schools school zone. Good luck!

I love Denver and was looking there, along with Salt Lake and other areas in this region. Looks like I'll end up in Dallas, though. My wife has family in Centennial, and I love that area south of town. I think it's a lot nicer, though probably more expensive.

I was born in Denver, but we moved when I was 2, so I do not know.
