KSL reporting Karlin Brown (not sure on the spelling) is exploring his options and is leaving the team

And 1320 just said Chris Hines could be seeking a transfer as well. So the Utes are going to lose SIX players from this years team and only two from graduation. Wow. Please oh please, Utah keep Boylen around for a long, long time!

The only thing that would make it better is for their football program to get the NCAA death penalty.

Wow, Carlin Brown was one of their 3 best players. This is a surprise.

KSL is reporting that a 4th player has left the team today. Don't know who it was, they were saying he was a backup guard. Boy I am placing my vote for Aneurysm Boylen for coach of the year!! This is now almost half of this years team will be gone. Perhaps he is just trying to free up some schollies when he goes on a recruiting trip for the Utah Penal University to get better character players such as Drca and Henderson. I will top Kitic, Please oh please oh please oh please keep this coach on board.

Jim Boylen is a fantastic coach and a molder of men. He teaches young men how to play the game with character and he is in a rebuilding process that will result in a perennial championship program that will thrust the U into the national spotlight and shower the school and state with esteem. It may take 10 or 15 years, but I, for one, think it well worth the wait.

Thanks for putting me in my place and setting the record straight. I was probably too hard on the guy and should have realized the long term plan Chris Hill had for the basketball program. I have to remember that he is DR. Chris Hill and therefore knows a lot more about it than any of us. :lol:

Now I've heard that Marsha might be leaving the program as well. That would be 7 players leaving in the same season (2 seniors and 5 transfers). That's quite a success story if you ask me.



And yes, keep Boylen, he's a great recruiter. BYU will always be in his shadow!!! (TFIC)

This actually doesn't make me happy. I'd love for the current Utard players to get medical redshirts for as long as they'd like and for them to perpetually play for the team up north. I'm also hoping that Boylen gets at least a ten year contract extension, at least...

"One of Boylen's first recruits, Jordan Cyphers (Wichita, Kan.) was expected to transfer after he finished the year playing in only 16 of the teams 31 games this season. Cyphers lost his spot as the team's deep threat when Henderson came to town. With Henderson winning the spot, Cyphers' minutes when down and so did his attitude."



He loses the starting job to Henderson, and now Henderson is contemplating on leaving. :lol: Talk about a double edge sword in this situation.



Boylen has these FRutes falling apart. I love it... Reminds me of the Gary Crowton years. :gross:
