I Can Hardly Blame Jimmer

I have to cut the kid a little slack.



How many great dishes has he given our bigs that just ended up being bobbled and lost?

How many great dishes has he given our bigs, leaving them with a great opportunity go go strong, that they just stood there like their feet were cemented to the ground?



It's easy sometimes to accuse Fredette of being a ball-hog, or not passing enough, but sometimes I think the fact of the matter is that Jimmer loses confidence in his teammates. It's not necessarily a good excuse, but I guess he figures he has a better chance of just scoring himself.



For the record, this isn't just something that I've noticed this game. It's been all season long.

Could be those bigs are so surprised that they actually get the ball, they don't know what to do with it. :lol: Kidding. THere were a lot of bobbled balls. Fast paced game and I felt BYU held their own pretty well.

The fact is that they need to play more of these games against very good teams to get use to the speed and physical play.

I'd say it's a combination of the two. They need the ball in their hands more so they have the practice/confidence to just do something with it.
