Utes are still classless

I had a great opportunity to watch the game today in a restuarant in Salt Lake and I was amazed that there were a lot of Ute fans there that were cheering against BYU. I actually talked to a couple of them about why they were cheering against them instead of cheering for the conference, and the only reason they could tell me, "because they are BYU". Again this just shows you they aren't really Ute FANS, just BYU haters!



Loved the game although I hope it didn't take too much out of them for Saturday.

That is soooooo irritating. I am aboout as bleed blue, wear the goggles, drink the cool aid, died in wool, true blue, live and die with the Cougars, loyal a BYU fan as there is, but when :utard: :utard: was playing for the NT with Miller and Doliac, with BYU out of the picture, I was cheering as loud as any yoot fan. To do the opposite is just plain stupid.

The conduct and programs are enough to keep me from cheering for them, but I'm smart enough to know success in playoff formats isn't a bad thing for the conference.



I wonder how many other suspended players will end up going to Utah. Idiots trying to be like Meyer.

Who would call someone who does NOT cheer for yewtaa stupid? At times I console myself at a :utard: victory with "well, at least it's good for the conference" but I definitely did NOT, nor will I EVER cheer for them.... And I am not a :utard: hater in place of a BYU fan, I am just both, BYU fan first, :utard: hater second....

The ute championship run was around the time that I went from being a fan of the conference to an exclusive BYU fan(I was actually rooting for them in that run). I have been around too many ute "fans" errrr BYU haters to EVER root for any ute in any contest. If I were to walk down the street and see a ute playing a game of hopscotch against the neighborhood neigbor girl, I would root for the girl. I root for them to lose every game. The utes always have and always will suck.

I hate them. All of them. I will never cheer for them in any sport, at any time. I want them to lose every game, in every sport for the rest of my natural life. I realize that a Ute win can help the conference, but I don't want their help. I will cheer for all other MWC conference teams but I hope that Utah always sucks. Always.



I grew up in Washington State and am a Husky fan a distant second to the Cougars and I have seen some pretty pathetic fans in the northwest. But none come anywhere near as disgusting as puke fans. The most vile fans I have ever dealt with are puke fans. The worst are ALUF's and their behavior at church meetings.



Call me whatever you want, I couldn't care less. One of the best things about this year is that we beat Utah in football, Max totally pissed them off, then we destroyed their basketball team and they weren't good enough to make it to the NIT. The icing on the cake was watching Boylen make a total horses behind out of himself. The fact that they are miserable puts a huge smile on my face.

I never cheer for the U. . . Never.

Eh, I get as upset hearing a Ute fan talk smack as I do from a kid down at Stoner High. In other words, i really do not care what they say. Irrelevance and all.

My all time favorite quote came from an older gentlemen who I sit by at BYU football games. We have had our season tickets for 5 years now and have gotten to be good friends with he and his wife. His son and family sit in front of us and they are all very entertaining.



In 2008 I was checking the Utah/Michigan score and letting everyone know around me what was happening. Someone mentioned that they weren't sure if they could cheer for Utah in that game. I informed them that I couldn't nor would I ever. There was some discussion about this for a minute or two.



At this point the older gentlemen next to me said, "If the Utes were playing Satan, I would cheer for Satan." I laughed for quite some time over that one.

I don't watch their games ever, unless they're playing vs BYU. I will be happy for the conference if they get an OOC win, but I won't watch it. If I do end up somewhere where the game is on, I find myself rooting for them to lose and get injured.

I NEVER, EVER cheer for Utah. In conference I cheer against them always. I hope they lose every conference game. When they play out of conference I don't cheer against them but I don't really cheer for them either. If they win I don't care, if they lose I don't care.

In 2008 I wanted them to beat Alabama and leading up to the game I kept saying that I wanted Utah to win. But then I sat down and watched the game and I just couldn't do it. I could not look at them and cheer without making myself sick.
