Mike Loyd has IT!

I know this is going on in other threads, but I thought Mike deserved his own. We've seen it before and we saw it again today. For a guy to come in in the first half and take control of the game like that, then score all our points in the first OT tells me that he can turn it on in crunch time. Then for a 60% FT shooter to hit his first six in a row, and get his career high on the biggest stage he's ever played on confirms that he's clutch.

Some people are just gamers. Lloyd is a Gamer and a Half.

I was just telling my wife, he is going to do Jimmer a LOT of favors next year. I HOPE I HOPE I HOPE we'll be able to make a two point-guard set work next year (they did great today), because defenses will have NO idea who to guard between the two of them. Whoever's not getting the pressure will make defenses pay OUT THE NOSE!!!

I think a lot of his success is because teams are used to the more methodical pace the rest of the team moves at. When Loyd attacks he surprises them with his quickness and aggressiviness.
