N. Texas vs. KSU

Time to take a look at our next round opponent...man it feels good to actually be saying that.



Tied early on. KSU has a sick shot-blocker and they're quick. N. Texas is making good plays so far.

KSU is fast and is playing suffocating defense against NTexas. I'll be interested as to how BYU attacks their size and speed on defense.

KSU is SDSU, but with guards that can shoot; they're pretty good...

Game over, we're playing K-State... not like we didn't know that 1.345684 seconds into the game.

wow, and the refs are not helping NT at ALL, lot of BS by KST not getting called.

Well, KSU is good. They'll probably shoot 20% higher against us than their season average so we need to rebound like animals on Saturday. And as we all should be well aware of by now, that means ABUOU!!! He did not play nearly enough today.

Someone on Kansas side was just walked to the locker room after being effectively clothes-lined into the ground.



Lots of bodies on the ground in this game from what i've seen, too bad this one won't go to double overtime to wear them out a bit more.

BYU's front line collectively is going to have to play the game of their life to have a chance to compete with K State.

Kansas State guard Jacob Pullen went down hard after a collision. He limped off the court holding his left elbow and his hip seemed to be bothering him as well as he left for the locker room. The Wildcats had a 62-38 lead over North Texas.

Abouo, I believed, played ten minutes, grabbed just one rebound, had no points, no assists, no steals. He doesn't play more because he's not good enough.



That being said, I think we'll need his 1 rebound per 10 minutes against Kansas State. Sounds like a necessary evil for match-up purposes. But ahead of Haws or Loyd? No.
