AmmonCougar1Four things have really been bugging for a long time and have each grown in their 'bugging me' intensity as time has passed.
1) The Bc$
2) Idaho NOT consolidating school districts as a way to cut education spending
3) Idaho Falls NOT allowing youth soccer teams to stay together from season to season
4) Counference tournament in the NCAA's
As this is the Basketball forum I will refrain from speaking specifically about the other three and focus my thoughts on the latter.
What it really boils down to is this: What can people who want to see changes happen do to help make them happen? I'm sick and tired of talking about the problem and even the myriad of solutions that 'potentially' exist. I want to see something happen. In this country we can make a difference politically (ok, ocassionally we can) but when it comes to sports it seems like we're just screwed even though we are the 'customer' and they are the store. (Whatever happend to 'the customer is always right' notion?)
So what do we do? Divide and conquer? Each of us pick another school and go to their diehard fans on their fanboards and get them all riled up too? Call Orrin? Stop bying Doritos and change insurance from Allstate? I'm just fed up! Any help here would make me feel better! :)
In the meantime...BYU better win Thursday for my sanity's sake and for my bracket's sake!
