Chambers not at Practice for Academic Reasons

Sounds like he could be back as soon as next week though. Hope he gets it together because he is one of our best.

Come on Linette, tell your boy we are pulling for him to get his classwork in order so he can get out there with the boys and practice with the new QBs, who will look his way more often!

I'm not too concerned. Winter semester was always the most difficult for me just because of the whole dark and cold mornings thing plus the distraction of the Madness. I don't know if OC suffers from the same problems but I'm sure he'll get it figured out. He's also probably starting to take some major courses by now so he's likely experiencing a bit of an increase in difficulty with those over the GEs. I'll be excited to see him back with his teammates soon though to help this team take the next step.

I can't see the article now, but I did read it when it first came out. Did it state that OC is specifically having academic problems or did it say something else?

Academic issues in week 1 but I read that he is practicing this week. Hopefully it is all good to go.

Since he's back, i took it mean he needed a paper or another assignment to turn it. It has since been turned in. Sounded to me like more of a late assignment or test to be taken than a more serious academic issue (i.e., failing a class). In the past, when we've heard of academic issues with a player (Tonga, Afituti, etc) they never made it to spring ball. So the fact that ONeill is practicing lends itself to a minor problem that has been eaily and quickly rectified.
