Spring Ball on TV?

I have seen other teams and conferences with spring practices and spring scrimages on TV. Why doesn't the MTN carry any of this type of programming, specifically BYU Football. Or, another option would be for BYUTV to have a daily 1/2 hour spring football update with video, interviews, etc. Even an online version would be good.



What prevents this from happening? If cost is an issue it would be easy to sell subscriptions for access to the daily content. If the coaches are the obstacle I'm not sure how to overcome it (I can't imagine there is much "Secret" content during spring ball).



Any thoughts on this or other suggestions to help those of us addicted to cougar football? We need our fix :sulk:

It's distracting to the coaches/players. I don't like the idea.

it should be on tv. I really wanna see what these 3 qb have.

I think most of the practices are closed. We might get very little information. Bronco likes it take way to limit what the opponents know. I have no problem with that but I would like to hear some news.

We can't even get 25,000K out to the spring game (when it's held). What makes ya'll think that more than a few thousand tops would be interested in watching this game on TV, especially the way Bronco runs it? At least, those that go get to enjoy a beautiful spring day and some entertaining activities prior even if the 'game' itself isn't all that exciting.

spring practice starts today. Something to keep us busy until March Madness begins.
