Utah managed to play BYU fairly close in Provo, despite a fantastic performance by Fredette- Do you really think we'll blow them out in Salt Lake City with an ill Jimmer?

There are multiple problems with tonight's game and I think they all combine for a loss for the Cougars:



1. This is a rivalry game. Rivalry games are generally close and anything is possible.

2. Jimmer can't be 100% if they were giving him fluids by IV on Monday.

3. Utah is motivated and we are tight. No one expects Utah to win this game, so all the pressure is on the Cougars.

4. We should have blown them out at home and couldn't do it. It will be significantly more difficult to win on the hill.



If by some miracle Jimmer is 100% than all bets are off. But what I see is a very close game, we will be in foul trouble at the end and it will be a 5 point game or less. A Utah win tonight is a very likely outcome. :~(

It still feels like the unm game was yesterday; I'm really worried about letdown here. I'd say this game is a coinflip; especially if we don't get off to a good start.

I couldn't handle yet another loss at the Huntsman. I've yet to attend a BYU/Utah game in SL and come out with the joy of being a winner. This will be my third shot and hopefully three times a charm. It just seems like people still aren't over the shock of losing at home to NM by 2 points.

I think the team should just pay to have me at all their away games.

I like our chances a lot more than you. We have beat Utah 2 out of the last 3 times up there and we're playing better on the road this year than we have in the past (minus the blow out vs UNLV of course) and Utah hasn't played all that great at home this year. I realize this is a rivalry game and it will probably be close, but I think we'll come out with the win.

I think its a close game. byu has to come out strong if they are going to win. expect henderson to be hitting everythign and have a huge night. i will be very happy if we pull this one off. would not be suprised at all if we lost.

there is no doubt that the reason BYU hasn't fed the post in the past is simply a result of the lack of confidence in their post players.





As soon as they get a little confidence (like tonight) they'll liberally feed those guys.



Great game on D for Hartsock, incredible overall game for Davies the future is very bright

Both teams did the exact opposite in everything I was worried about. It has been a long time since I enjoyed this game this much. Wow, I will sleep well tonight. :crazy:
