Disappointing loss. Last 45 seconds will go on training films of how not to do things. Missed free throw/lane violation, failure to inbound more than once, soft defense on the closing play—all added up to a loss that did not have to happen. And that is even with the 18, many unforced, turnovers. Regrettable because we saw outstanding performances from Fousse, Barcelo, George and Lucas.

I just watched the highlights. The highlights for BYU lasted until the last second which certainly was not a highlight. If they want to get anywhere they have to do better than that through the whole game.



George went limping off the court. I hope he's OK.

Better to have it happen now and learn from it then have it in the tournament.
