2022 Recruiting class - Official signing thread

We can use this to add in the players who officially begin signing in the early signing window (Wednesday, December 15).

Yes, another offensive lineman. He accepted a preferred walk-on. Sitake also flipped OL Joe Brown of Lone Peak who had committed to Virginia before Bronco left.

Looks like BYU decommit DL Braxton Fely is going to decide between Boise State and Utah State.

Why did he decommit? Any reason given?

Nothing official. Here is a brief timeline that might have something to do with it:

June 2021: Fely commits to BYU

Sep 29, 2021: Aisea Moa decommits from Utah

Oct 9, 2021: Aisea Moa commits to BYU

Nov 17, 2021: Fely decommits from BYU "After much prayer and talking to my family and those close to me"

Dec 14, 2021: Fely posts on twitter that he is choosing between Boise State and Utah State tomorrow.



He had a great senior year and it appears he may have been feeling more love from Boise State (where he is predicted) than he was feeling from BYU? The other blind speculation could be some kind of red flag in academics? But who really knows. Moa is the only other DL I see in the signing class so I think he really could have been used.

It was interesting to hear Aaron Roderick yesterday on 1280AM. He was asked if all their guys would be signing this week in the early signing window but he said no, they would have room to sign more guys later who don't sign in the early window. So it will be interesting to watch tomorrow. and on into the offseason.
