MarsFansPoll.com is a website where "the people" award a national championship each year. Every week 10 national games are voted upon, who will win, and players are awarded points for each correct guess. At the end of the year each fan with the highest point total from all 120 schools submits a Top 25 vote, and the #1 team is given a National Championship trophy.
I voted Utah #1 in 2008 after they beat Alabama, and the Utes did indeed receive a trophy. Since then some advertisers pulled out and the website has struggled financially, but they got some people to come through to sponsor a 2009 trophy to be awarded March 1st. I think there's a good chance it will go to Alabama, but I'm strongly considering putting Boise State #1 in my vote. In fact, I'm strongly considering putting TCU #2 in my vote as well, because for all I know they might have been better than 'Bama but the system never guess us a chance to find out- so screw the system.
Anyways, my ballot runs 1-25, and I'm willing to take suggestions. Some people may think Air Force should be in there somewhere, others might stick with Houston, etc. Feel free to post your rankings below.
