If the Jazz win tonight against Atlanta we would be tied with Denver for 1st in the division. Denver doesn't play again until Thursday. The Jazz play Charlette on Wednesday. Win both our games and we lead the division before Denver even plays again.

The even better news is New York's upcoming schedule:

Bucks

Celtics

Wizards

Grizzles

Cavs

Pistons

Raptors

Maybe only one or two wins during that stretch for them at best. If the Warriors and Kings could win some games the Knicks could end up with the 3rd worst record in the league by the end of that stretch.

I really don't think the Jazz win tonight. They had to come back from a 25 point deficit and that must have been draining. AK isn't playing, and Okur may not get significant minutes. Brewer's spot on the roster hasn't been replaced. They could have a very short bench and like I said, they have to be drained after last nights performance. Jazz haven't played too well on back to backs this year, Lakers game being the most recent example.

BUT well just have to see how it plays out.

I just saw that the Hawks also played last night. Might be a good game.

Yeah, the Hawks had a demoralizing game last night, giving up a huge lead and handing the game to lowly Golden State. The Jazz had a draining overtime win, but they won. It should be a good game tonight.

Dwill out with a Quad contusion.

Game over.

Actually, Ronnie Price and Wes Matthews have looked like two of the most capable young guys at point in the league. The Jazz have enough weapons on offense and enough depth that they'll still compete.

Miserable end to the first half for the Jazz, other than than, Jazz hanging tough.

I completely agree, and I love that the jazz have price. The guy is instant energy and a good competitor.

BUT, this team is not the same without Deron.

Yep, they weren't the same tonight without Derron, but they were in it till to the end.

Yeah, hand it to the hawks, they kept fighting back and finally got the lead at the right time.

Jazz showed a lot of fight, just needed a few things to to their way. Too bad Hawks hit 50% from 3pt land.

Would have been nice if we had made our free throws down the stretch, or if Milsap could have made that two foot shot after the missed free throw. We would have won if we just hadn't let the Hawks score more points than us...

At least we get the Bobcats on Wednesday. Here's to the start of another 9 game win streak.
