A few new recruiting names have popped up on the "interested" category of 24/7 sports:

An LDS kid who had been committed to Florida State, but in the past 24 hours decommitted from the Seminoles. He is predicted to be going to LSU, but also reportedly holds offers from Arizona State, Boston College, BYU, Coastal Carolina, Colorado, Duke, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Southern, Grambling State, Hawaii, Kansas, Louisiana, Marshall, Middle Tennessee State, Mississippi State, Missouri, NC State, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, San Diego State, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Troy, Tulane, UAB, UCF, USF, Utah, Virginia Tech, Western Carolina, Western Kentucky, Louisville, and Texas A&M. Needless to say he would be a huge get.

Saia Mapakaitolo, OL, Mesa, AZ, 3 star

Is still predicted 77% to go to USC over BYU, but also has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon State, UCLA, Utah, and Washington State.



Apparently the OL's success this year has caught some attention they otherwise wouldn't have a shot at.

Another new name being worked from the transfer portal is Northwestern safety Gunner Maldonado from Chandler, AZ. He played at Chandler HS with Jacob Conover.
