Per sources, BYU linebacker Alex Miskela is in the NCAATransferPortal. Miskela was a member of the 2018 recruiting class for BYUfootball, but greyshirted his first season before redshirting this past season in 2019. He would have been a Freshman this season.

Clark said that walk-on tight end Nate Heaps, from American Fork, is retiring from football due to chronic injuries. Heaps had spent 2 seasons on the scout team and used a redshirt year. He would have been a Junior.

Clark said the BYU tight end Dallin Holker, who was serving in Chile before the pandemic caused all foreign-serving missionaries to return home, will re-enter the mission field on July 14 and serve in Yakima, Washington, until next March.

I feel the most sorry for Dallin Holker having to spend time in Yakima.

Mango Finau has entered the transfer portal. He was part of the 2017 recruiting class, enrolled at BYU, and was listed with the team before serving a mission. The 6' 5" 350 lb offensive lineman never entered a game at BYU.
