Couldn't have said it better myself. I've been fearing the exact same thing as you guys for much of this season, as it has been a down year for many big name programs.
Other potential games we could get similar to UCONN that come to mind are Louisville, Marquette, Florida, along with some others.
And then yeah, that's the big fear, that all of the sudden come tournament time, they decide to start playing like they should have all year with the talent they have, now that it counts for a whole lot more.
That's why I want to get to that 4 or 3 seed so bad. I don't even want the 5 seed, it's the dreaded upset spot. I would rather have a 6 seed.
Did you know that a higher % of 12 seeds beat 5 seeds than 11 seeds beat 6 seeds? Only place where that reverse trend takes place. I don't want a 5 seed.
