Tristan Hoge recovered from injury that plagued him all season

His father tweets that he is fully recovered and ready for 2020. His injury suffered in game 1 eventually shut him down after 5 games for the rest of the season.

Glad he's doing well.

I didn't realize it but I guess things were lined up for Hoge to not return.

- Suffered a torn patellar tendon against Toledo. Some thought he might give up football all together.

- He has already graduated and is finishing up his first year in the Masters of Public Administration program

- He could have transferred anywhere and been immediately eligible for his final year as a grad transfer.



I'm glad that Sitake and the coaching staff managed to keep Bushman, Tonga, and Hoge all in the program. We could use these returning contributors!

I agree. Credit to Sitake and the staff. Up here in Boise, BSU lost its top underclass Olineman and their underclass all world pass rusher to early entry into the draft....hard to replace guys like that....

I was just reading that with those defections to the NFL, Boise State returns 1 starting offensive lineman and loses their entire starting defensive line along with a couple from the 2-deep. I'd love to have 2020 be the year that BYU gets a win on the smurf turf.

There is even some quarterback controversy. BSU reportedly did have a good recruiting class though.
