Matt Bushman TE - will decide after the Hawai'i Bowl

“I am still being pretty neutral about everything. Health is the biggest factor, and you just never know with that. Anything could happen in a practice, or a game. That’s probably the biggest thing. I am just praying with my family, with my wife, making sure everything is right. Whatever is right is right. … But nothing is definite; I don’t have anything set in stone.”

Khyiris Tonga DT - Tonga has said he almost certainly will forgo his senior season and enter the draft.

Tonga will be a huge loss.

Bushman could have been a big loss, but he's almost never utilized.

Bushman led the team in receiving all 3 years he's been here (edging out Micah Simon this year by 37 yards). But has never broken 600 yards receiving in a season (519, 511, 597)--Which is really kind of a weird when you think about it.

That was my first thought on Tonga as well, but upon reflection, it seemed (to me) that he took too many plays off. I can't think of a single game that BYU won, but would have lost this year without him... maybe USC?

Also, It was hard for me to think of a game that Bushman was a factor in, by either catching the ball, or drawing defenders away from other targets that the Cougars would have otherwise lost without him, but that's just me.

Ty'Son Williams said his decision to announce for the NFL draft rather than come back to BYU in 2020 was because there was a "slim chance" the NCAA would have granted him a waiver for another season of eligibility.
