Football Ticket Renewals less than a week away

Please don't question my fanhood (or my manhood for that matter) but I'm second guessing myself at puchasing season tix for a third consecutive year. The past two seasons have been great (minus the TCU and FSU home games). But the drive down from Idaho Falls 6 times, and this year for a weak conf. home schedule, make it more likely I'll upgrade my cable package to include the MTN and then come down to one or two ksl.com purchased games.



Feel free to share your arguments for or against these thoughts and give me pause to reconsider. I welcome both viewpoints.



Oh, and my buddy who bought tix with me lost his job and consequently his 'free gas' benefits so I'd have to pony up a few more dollars each time for gas too. I know, I'm a tightwad. So be it.

You're perfectly within your rights to not renew the tickets. Next year's home slate is less than impressive. Pick a game or two (Washington) and just come for that one.

I live an 60-90 minutes away, and if there's a game that day... It's my BYU day and everything else is shot. It's more than just the three hour game. It's time consuming. Little enough living 6 hrs away. Enjoy that game from your couch. That's what I'm doing this year.

Anybody know when away game tickets go on sale?

Just read on ESPN that tOSU raised there ticket prices this year by $7 per ticket. the cost now? $70 per game per seat. WOW. With over 102k per game, they brig in OVER $7.1 million per game, and with 6 home games, over $42.5 million in football ticket sales alone. In fact, in 2008, they brought in over $117M in total revenues for athletics, #2 behind Texas only. By the way, tOSU athletics LOST MONEY in 2009. How ridiculous is that.



By the way, BYU football tickets are underpriced.

I called today about when I could buy some tickets to the Florida State game and I was told I had to wait until August since all those rich mucky mucks who buy season tickets can get first shot. Oh the humanity of it all!!

I got season tickets. I was trying to go to florida st game, its not looking good. I can grab you tickets since i get a crack at it before general public.
