Horrible game.



We shot so bad. Haws was off. Toolson lost the game for us. Barcello was worthless.



I can see why Barcello didn't get many minutes at Arizona. He turns the ball over a ton and can't go left. He fakes left, but always goes right.



Toolson was a ball hog in the final 20 seconds of regulation. Tied with 20 seconds to go the guy just dribbled at the top playing iso ball. He's not that quick or dynamic of a player to play iso ball. He's not Durant or LeBron. He dribbles and then there is 4 seconds left. He has to take a horrible shot.



I don't know what is up with Haws this season, but he is off. Shot is off. Passing is lazy.



Childs can't get back soon enough.

P.S. Toolson and Haws really need to figure each other out. They hardly pass the ball to each other. They hardly work together.

Yeah, definitely some chemistry issues on this team.

I honestly don't know how we beat Houston. I will have to look at the stats closer. It seems that despite our shooting struggles each of our opponents have also struggled to shoot the three against us. I'm not sure if that is because we have played crappy outside shooting teams or we are just that good at exterior defense. But this Boise St. game we shot poorly all around. Not just three point shooting. We missed SEVERAL wide open layups.

That is twice now Toolson has had it in the last seconds to very bad results. At Houston he got stripped but the defender did a carrry over. Haws took it after the time out and happily for us made the shot. I have not seen anything to suggest Toolson can start from the top of the key, go one on one and take (let alone make) a final shot like that. Pope needs a far better end of game plan than that. It has failed twice now.
