If that's what it takes to guarantee that Jimmer comes back, do it in a second. I'm sure Siena or Syracuse would provide a decent payday too considering Glens Falls woudl sellout the joint.

That's the big "IF" here. Now, it's late to schedule an extra game for next season, and a 6000-seat arena won't make anyone a lot of cash, and it's a long travel for BYU (almost a true road game for the Cougars), and we may play in the Coaches Against Cancer Tournament in New York anyways, BUT! I love the idea.

IF they schedule it that would mean Jimmer would be a lock to coming back for his senior season.

It's not even close to late to schedule a non-con game. D1 hoops teams are known to wait til late summer to agree to some games. If they really want to make this happen, they can. Again, if that's what it takes to ensure that Jimmer comes back, you do it.

He may be a student athlete but he's generating millions for BYU athletics and the school.

As a cougar-sports-deprived resident of upstate New York I would love to see this happen. Yes, MSG/coaches v cancer is technically held in NY state, but NYC is a long way from Glens Falls (although geographic distance barely a factor when considering the differences between these two places). It would be great to see Jimmer come, especially if they played Siena, 'Cuse would be good too, but Siena is just a few stops down on the 87 'northway'.

1- BYU ain't goin' to the Falls if they get into the Coaches against Cancer Tourny held at Madison Square Garden in NYC.
