Good, that annoyed me. Although, I was always hoping one of our guys would do a 1 Ne. 3:7 or Moses 1:39 or something.

Unless a player is being paid for an Adidas logo on his face I see no reason why the NCAA needs to exercise this kind of authority over players. What's the point?

To show just how much they can throw their weight around because they have to compensate for their tiny manhoods (as evidenced by the fact that they will not form a playoff and get rid of the BcS).

Ridiculous. First of all that they feel the need to do it at all but secondly that they would only do it after Tebow is gone. Obviously they've been contemplating this for awhile but didn't want to do it while their biggest star was still on getting them lots of headlines. It's really pathetic how money is driving everything the NCAA does. They really are a pathetic excuse for an athletic organization that only does the right thing when it's good for their pocket book.

It can still be the right thing, but if you're doing it for the wrong reasons then you may as well not be doing it in the first place, it counts for nothing.

Slightly unrelated, but shouldn't anything this organization does automatically be suspect when Slime-ball Bellotti is the committee chair? Does anyone else find it laughable that HE'S the appointed face of NCAA Football's sportsmanship ideals???

It's what they do in Oregon. Smoke pot & hug trees. Eating the kettle corn is a new one. I like kettle corn though. I even like the State of Oregon. I just don't like the Oregon Duck's. Can't quite put my finger on it.
