Zayne used a redshirt last year so will need to petition the NCAA for a medical redshirt if he wants to return. He only played in 2 games so hopefully he would be granted another year.

I thought last year was his medical making him a 6th year. Maybe I am wrong.

According to BYUCougars.com, he did not serve a mission and was a member of the 2015 recruiting class (https://byucougars.com/story/football/nid/zayne-anderson-2015-byu-football-recruiting-class/). He was a Freshman in 2015, Sophomore in 2016, Junior in 2017, Redshirt in 2018 (only played in 4 games), Senior in 2019.
