Wow 2 Ints vs the great (but largely unproven) USC pass attack.

They showed blitz but never blitzed and got picked apart.



The looks are working on some plays. It will be interesting to see the adjustments as the game goes on.

USC is late hitting/pushing out of bounds on almost every play.

Good first half. USC still scoring some but the BYU offense looked more lively than I expected. Let's see how the 2nd half goes.

Defense needs to step up in the 2nd half. USC was walking all over us.

Hopefully they figured out why they couldn’t block on the 1st possession and fix it.

Why is USC blitzing and rushing 5? It makes Wilson rush. It’s not nice. They are supposed to rush with 3 and let him get 5 Mississippi before pressuring.

That 3rdQ pass at 2:57 to MLP was freakin nuts. Excellent play there. Feels like the offense is moving pretty well.

Bad decision. Should have gone for the field goal and definitely shouldn't have challenged that call.

What about the USC WR pulling the defender so he can’t pick it off. He was pulling the artist formerly known as Lake and that’s why there was contact. He went out of bounds on his own.

They have adjusted thing and sent more guys at time in defense. The low pressure stuff would have been eaten up at that point so a good adjustment.



This is a good game. That TD and the no call pass interference stand out at this point. Hopefully the refs pick up their game.
