I think that throwing the QB's shoe across the field was directly responsible for the tipped touchdown.

Unable to hit wide open receivers and penalties

We got hosed on that pass reception call being overturned. Wilson is not sharp. Defense can’t get a stop. But hope springs eternal!

This offense is horrible

Defense stood strong. O is so out of synch. Georgia Southern can run on Tenn and we can’t? Sigh.

False start, completion to Bushman, sack, and then a snap that hits Hifo while in motion and we almost lost possession. 4th and 21 and a punt.

That's not a silver lining I am interested in facing. I hate the idea of having to go through another coaching change. Unfortunately, nothing is going to improve under this staff. It is time to get off the pot and try another HC.

With just a little offense, we could win this.

So the score leaves the impression that the defense is playing well. I contend that a defense that gives up 80 yard 10 minute drives, even if they keep the team out of the end zone, is not doing its job. A good defense gets teams off the field in order to get the offense another chance to score.
