Quote from Wilson on the Utah game:

“There was a lot of confusion throughout the game of who’s lining up where, who’s supposed to do what, clock management, just getting up and getting set and ready to go,” Wilson said. “Now that we’ve had that first game, we should be a lot better in overall execution.”

Yep, you read that right, the offense was confused about where to line up, what they were supposed to do, and other basic things. Arguably the biggest game of the season and the team was confused on where to line up.

Seriously...are we actually paying these coaches?

It's funny how the truth inadvertently comes out. He didn't mean to throw the coaches under the bus, but did it.

There was confusion about whether we had a game Thursday night or not. We took our practices so easy we weren't sure if we were going to show up and play this season at all...

Friggin' amateur hour. And one reason I blame the coaches before the players.

Nothing a few days off of practice can't fix, amiright?

And it's not like they didn't have a few months to prepare!

So odd to me.

You just got beat by your rivals, it was clear even without the quote by Wilson that the offense was helter skelter at best.

TOP was pathetic in half 2.

But sure, take off a few days.

Haha! Definitely.

They wouldn't have even needed pads to practice where to stand...you stand here, you stand here, and you stand there. Tadaa! The correct formation.

But remember, Kalani liked having the game first. It gave the team focus during the off-season and during camp.

I find the idea of blaming players to be odd.

When a managers team at work sucks, does Senior management want to fire the individuals or the leader of all the bad individuals?

You are responsible for who you hire and responsible to replace them if needed. The coaches are also responsible to recruit and have competent depth ready to go. They can’t escape accountability.

I personally give blame to the players at about 20%, 80% coaching. Yes Players still play but this is an ongoing problem. The players look confused and unmotivated in every game unless they just out talent the opponent. I'm sick of it.

The coach’s picture lets me know where some of our offensive plays get drawn up.

So, we're still blaming Detmer?
