EM_PumaDang! My wife made me buy Patti LuPone tickets for her performance tonight when we were at BYU Education week or I'd be there.
I did finally get up enough nerve to watch last week's game last night. It's so much easier to handle knowing the outcome. I can actually watch it and not sit there with my stomach in knots. I actually came away from that game with a bit more appreciation for the team than I had only hearing about it.

EM_PumaIt was interesting to be at a concert where they told us to turn off our phones and not use them during the performance, because, or course, the venue would be very dark during the performance.
The minute intermission happened was when the game went to OT. I turned on my phone for the 1st time and it showed BYU 23 UT 16. I was just incredulous. Trouble was I didn't have me glasses on and I thought I could see that the game was still going in OT and then suddenly it was tied up again and intermission ended. Talking about a grueling time waiting for the end of the concert to check the final score. We had 3 enchors for heaven's sake.
The only problem, and it was a good problem, it was 11:30 before I got home to watch the game and so it was 3 a.m. before I finished it up. Man am I tired this morning.
This is why I follow these silly sports because that feeling of pure adrenaline when your teams wins a close one they were favored to lose.
