So by this BYU would be 5-7. Maybe not far off, at all.

I'm far more optimistic about this fall's MBB team than I am FB. With this schedule, 7-5 would be really good. I hope for more, but I just don't see us stepping up that much. Beat Utah in the season opener and I could get optimistic, but otherwise, I just don't think we have the team to do any better.



I believe in MBB we can make the tournament this year. We'll know pretty quick out of the gate with the Maui game against UCLA. Not an elite team, but not a pushover either. We then beat Kansas (of course they need to get by Chaminade--yeah, like that's a challenge) and we're talking a real good MBB team and expectations are out of the park.

The Orlando Sentinel previews are one of the highlights of the offseason for me. They consistently demonstrate an East Coast bias though.



I thought about going back a few years and getting preseason and post season rankings. I think the closer a school is to Orlando the more overrated they will be, with helmet schools (blue bloods) being the only exception.
