This is from Drew's blog:

"Tidwell said Apo has been working out on a stationary bike and has shown a great attitude. Doctors say he will be ready by fall.

“He had surgery, and the next day or two days later, he was in the weight room at 6 in the morning. And coach [Jay] Omer said, ‘you can’t do anything. You can’t be in here.’ He said, ‘this is my lifting group, and I want to be with them, so he has a great presence and maturity about him already. He’s very focused, and I know he ran with us a couple times with us before he had that surgery. I like the way he runs. He’s going to be a really good receiver.”

Tidwell said that to his knowledge, none of the new guys have missed a day of weightlifting yet."

I love it. This team is going to be tight-knit.

Weird, I read that too and wanted to start a similar thread. With Apo's attitude, Phillips' confidence and unifying and playful demeanor, Tushaus' and Heaps' recruiting ability, I can't think of a recruit I'm not excited about. I'm looking forward to stories about Van Noy's and Stout's work ethic.

Man, this is worse than waiting for Christmas when we were kids.

The thing I'm most excited about?

We are really lucky to have landed, heaps, apo, and stout. they have done a phenomenal job recruiting and building unity with some amazing people and football players.

This has to be one of the best recruiting classes we have every had. These guys are dedicated and ready to make an impact right away. Will be very fun to watch these guys. they are a special group.

Let's hope Omer can get these kids stronger, and not have so many hammy injuries this year. Weights with yoga baby! I hope they do it, at least for the skill guys. They need more flexibility and less bulk. yoga is perfect for them, or a variation like P90X yoga. Trust me, it really works. Makes you feel lighter on your feet, quicker, and is a good exercise.

P90X yoga is one tough workout. Yes, they (the whole team) would definitely benefit from it. Wasn't it the famous Lynn Swan who used to do ballet to help with his agility?

Way to go Apo!! I love hearing stories of guys like this that are 100% committed!

At the same time I hate hearing stuff like this because I step away from my keyboard, look outside and see the snow and realize it is February and not August...

If it's good enough for Jerry Rice, then ALL of our players should take Ballet! My 10-year -old daughter can teach them.
