Drew Phillips Brother Posting at CB

He said that the byu fans were a big part of his decision. the fan base and support. I really do think that the crap we say on these boards does make an impact whether it is stupid to have that be a part of your decision making process or not, I think its affects kids when they read things about themselves on these boards.



I am seriously pumped about getting phillips. His brother said that the coaches have they want to him him like reggie bush is used in new orleans. backfield a little bit, slot, punt kick returner, etc.



one of his comments:
What's up guys? I found cougarboard and of course had to sign up. I'm Drew's older brother. The best is yet to come with Drew... i can promise you that. He is still a kid. He hasn't even turned 18 yet. He is getting bigger, faster, stronger right in front of our eyes here at home by the day. He will see seriously playing time in the return game and all of you will be very excited to see him with the ball in the open field. In high school every team they played loaded the box with 8,9, even 10 people at times. It's going to be a great thing with him in a spread offense.. We are all excited and proud he is part of the Cougar Nation!! The fans have been amazing with all the support you have shown for him. He can't wait to get out there. Just so you know, that huge support of fans that I am talking about... One of the major reasons he is headed to Provo. e loves the fans already and hasn't even stepped on the field yet.

I think he'll find more intelligent posters here than at any other site, but perhaps I'm a little bit biased.

TTT, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Do you want to do another poll to see who has the ugliest avatar? I'll be really nice and let you win again.



And the video still makes me laugh and I show the youtube version of it to people and they just get the giggles about it.

That signature cracks me up. As if the ball bouncing up and hitting him in the jingle bells wasn't bad enough... He gets pushed as he's helplessly holding onto dear life.

I LOVE SPEED IN THE SLOT POSITION!! When was the last time BYU had it? I honestly can not remember. Margin Hooks maybe? And he was a beast in the slot. TCU and Utah will not be able to just bracket 2 TE's anymore. We will be tougher to defend, and with a bruising running game, really tough. Speed outside, power inside. I love it!!!!!

I don't think kids follow random message boards before committing, but I know they can't ignore fans giving them love on their own websites...

At least he got a penalty called, I hope on the guy that pushed him and not on his celebration gone oh so wrong...

I am in Cougar Club and would not dare do this with any recruit for fear of it being an illegal booster contact. Facebook--no way. Subscribe to a Twitter feed--perhaps. I hope other CC members are smart about it too.

Cool thanks for the info, but I still can't believe they call a technical on BYU with the Henderson slap!
