I've enabled a check against a spam database for IP addresses of known spam locations. Every time a new user registers it will check that database and automatically ban people who are hit. I've hesitated to do this in the past because it slows down registration, and it can also result in false positives. I hate to have good people banned from CougarCorner for no reason. But obviously the latest batch of spammers have learned how to get passed the Recaptcha system.
