Notre Dame game really going to happen?

Come back to me when the Notre Dame AD says playing AT BYU. I don't want to hear anything from him about the BYU series until he says ND is coming to Provo.

Absolutely, I would not play them in South Bend without them playing us again in our stadium or at a neutral location. It has to be west of the Mississippi. I believe Vegas would be the best option.

The rumor I heard is it could be one of the first games in the new Raiders stadium in Las Vegas. But I can't imagine it would be another game in South Bend.

If we play another game at South Bend before ND plays at LES Tom Holmoe should be fired.

I understand your sentiments--that was my initial reaction, but truth be told, If I personally were given a choice of a game in LES vs Liberty or a game in South Bend vs Notre Dame, I'd pick ND. Partly because they have their own TV deal with NBC. It would be hard to ever turn them down. Yes, you lose the beauty pageant, but you still made it to Atlantic City.



Thing is too that TH turned 59 this year (honestly he looks good for his age), but I just wonder how much longer he'll want to put up with all of this stuff? Dave Rose was smart and got out of the fire at 61. I wonder how tempted Salt Lake is in calling him as a MP? Call him to the same mission as Steve Cleveland was called and then Notre Dame would have to have him staring over the fence at them for 3 years.

You guys are kidding me, right? This is Notre Dame we are talking about. We are BYU. If they offer to play us in Swarbrick's backyard, or a church parking lot, we DO IT!

Once we beat them a few times, or get a decent bowl game, then we can start making demands. But we aren't there yet.

We have beaten them a few times. At South Bend in 1994, and at home in Provo in 2004.



On another front, I would be happy to play them in South Bend again, as long as they either come to Provo first, or pay up to BYU for breaking contract.
