Great news for the Cougars and for Yoeli. Both will benefit from another year together.

It's so funny that before I left work, when I saw someone tweet that had been at the BYU father/son camp that they had seen Yoeli there at BYU today, that I though I'd post a "what if" thread, but I couldn't get myself to do it because I believed on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being inconceivable, I was probably at a 1 or 2 at the most. I was worried mainly that his decision had to be in by 10 pm this evening and since he hadn't said anything all day, I figured it wasn't worth getting worked up about.



I don't think there is a person on the planet that BYU could have hired to get YC back better than MP. So far this guy has given us visions of being a "Pope" that can walk on water.



I am so stoked!

Somebody on the team just said, "Shitz, there goes my playing time."



I mean it was incredible last week to officially have Toolson coming back and knowing he was most likely a starter, and to now have Yoeli back to take yet another starter's place away from those that had remained and thought their time had come.

Yoeli probably wanted to scope out Italy this fall for future prospects and on someone else's dime.



I mean think about it, a few weeks trip to Italy and then to Maui. What's not to want to come back?

The only bad news of the day is that Gonzaga forward Killian Tillie also withdrew from the NBA draft and will return for his senior season. Dang!

I can't even imagine someone being able at this late point to bring in two players that will start the next season. Doesn't happen often.

If he is determined to make a run at the NBA, staying in college is his best hope. He goes to Europe and he's off the NBA's radar.



If Childs has NBA talent, he needs to get his college team to the NCAA tourney.
