Why would he do that coming on an injury unless he is being forced out.

There is some twitter chatter that he was very vocal about being anti-honor code in some of the recent protests. There is some serious competition at the corners this fall and coming off an injury there would be no guarantees. Maybe that combo made him reconsider his final year. Or maybe they hadn't planned on his scholarship for another year before he got injured and picked up another year of eligibility. Even with him removed from the roster they are still over by about 9 scholarships for the 2019-20 season.

Another thought is perhaps as a graduate a grad school program didn't come together for him.

ACL injury + competition to start + opportunity/availability to be a grad transfer = I doubt we will see Trevion this fall.



I wish that wasn't the case. In order to have an effective D against the receivers of Tennessee, Washington, and others we need a host of top notch corners. Trevion would play a part in locking down our pass D if he stays.
