"In his freshman season at UVU, the 6-foot-10, 205-pound Lowell averaged 15.7 minutes, 4.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. He also shot 41 percent from the field and 37.6 percent from 3-point range.
He scored in double figures five times, including a season-high 14 points against Saint Maryâs in early November.
Lowell, a native of Gilbert, Arizona, was a four-star recruit coming out of high school. He served a two-year mission in Minnesota for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints."
Seems like a good pickup and would fit well. Just sucks that these guys have to sit out a year, but that's the rules.

EM_PumaUVU fan base has to be in a real love/hate relationship with Mark Pope. The guy did the school great and then leaves and brings the contents of the shelves (as in leaves shelves bare) with him. Prior to this move, UVU was poised to probably be the favorite to win the WAC. They lost quite a bit a steam with this transition. Mark Madsen will really need to get creative.
