Even an average game by either one of these two and the Cougars keep the win streak going. Both played their worst game of the year. Gag.

Or better team rebounding. or making a couple more FTs, or Jimmer playing some D instead of letting his guy blow by him, or shooting even at BYU's season average would have also ensured the win.

I can't get over all you wussies bawling about our centers (or emery). It's a team game. The BYU team that we know exists didn't show tonight.

It's part of the game.

Emery's 3-point shooting at the beginning of this season was officially a fluke.

Every time we play a good team this guy chokes. His defense is always solid, but offensively, he is average. I can't think of one game he's played well in this year that was against a very good team.

Emery doesn't get many touches and neither does Miles. Face it, right now our team is basically the Jimmer and JT show with a side helping of Haws. I don't get it. The last few games Haws has been lighting it up in the first few minutes and after 5 min he doesn't get the ball anymore. Jimmer and JT typically work it between themselves. The bal needs to be spread around more in general.

Honestly, if we had stopped their guys from driving (particularly at the 2:30 mark when we had a 2 pt lead) we wouldn't be hammering on emery or miles.

It's not easy to win in the pit and we had a real shot at the 2 minute mark.

Emery was 1-7 from 3 point range this game. He is on a major, MAJOR cold streak.

JT was 3-5 from 3 point range, and 4-4 shooting free throws on the way to 17 points.

I was impressed that Davies and Anderson managed to combine for 7 fouls in a mere 11 minutes of play though... :bug:

NO, he has not recovered his shot, from when he had a bruised heel.

Lets not be too hard on guys who have only lost two games in some of the hardest places to win in the country.

they played well, but their defense sucked. It looked like our guys were gassed. It didn't help that jimmer was rushing and forcing bad shots either.

We need Jax to find his shot and soon. He's gone ice cold since his 21 points against Air Force. He's gone just 11-36 (.305) and an even worse 3-23 (.134) from behind the arc. And it's not like he's taking bad shots he's just missing shots badly. He's getting good looks. Maybe he needs to go to the rim more and see some shots go in the tin and get some confidence going.

Today (after losing by 4 to a good team, on the road, in one of the toughest places to play):

We suck, we are terrible, my life is over, I am on the edge of the cliff, Jimmer is a ball hog, Jackson can't shoot, our bigs don't rebound, box out, shoot well, are ugly, Rose doesn't know how to coach big men, power forwards, centers, guards, tennis players, the chess team, his daughters junior jazz team, we will never win a tournament game, ever again...

Saturday night (after beating our rival by 20, at home, in one of the toughest places to play):

We are awesome, we will never lose again, Jimmer is the greatest player in the history of BYU, Rose is such an incredible coach that I want to have his children, Jackson is lights out, JT is so good it made me cry, we are a likely final four team with a chance to win it all, Miles was amazing today and Davies will be the best big man BYU has ever seen...

I suspect that the truth is somewhere in the middle. Just sayin'. 8) Deep breath everyone. We will be okay.
