Good come from behind win. We were super sloppy with the ball. Seljaas finally shot well from the arc going 4/4. We needed that.



Baxter again looked good. We're having others chip in here and there, which is good.



SF is next at home. That won't be an easy game but it's definitely winnable. Then Gonzaga and then SD.



2nd place in the WCC is within reach. This week's road trip was a huge test. Just wish the team was playing this well earlier in the season.

Coach said that Selijaas has been injured. Now he is feeling good and the shot is dropping. Shooting 45% from 3 in conference now. Cannon is 50%. Making a big difference.

Really? Interesting. He certainly shot it well tonight.



Cannon heating up is a good thing too.

It's reported in cougarcorner man updates that Cannon is 1st in WCC in 3pt% at 50%! Seljaas is 3rd at 45%. That is conference games only which means they are improving. Other good news; BYU has the 2nd best scoring margin in the WCC at 4.2ppg. The not so good news; Gonzaga is 23.8 ppg better at 28 ppg.



I went in and looked at Gonzaga's roster and stats. It isn't height, they have a 6'11" fellow and one 6'10" but they aren't doing as well as their 2 6'8" men. Hachimura is their leading scorer at 20.3 ppg and Brandon leads in rebounds at 8.2 per game. Hachimura is from Japan. They are now #2 in the nation and one guy has them at #1.

I would feel better about our chances with GU if they were either ranked #1 or undefeated. :P
