#10 in Coaches' Poll, #12 in AP

Way to go Cougars! Now take care of business in The Pit on Wednesday and that traveling circus team from up north come Saturday.

Way to go Cougars!! I was hoping that New Mexico would make it in, but they are just on the outside.

At least UNM is ranked #23 in the AP poll.

well AP = BcS, 2 spots, BS.



At least we broke the top 10, in coaches.

I'm disappointed as well for the AP poll where we didn't jump as much as the USA/Coaches, but the upside was at least in the AP we're playing a Top 25 team, which should affect that poll more specifically if we win or lose to NM Wednesday.

At least when Georgetown loses tonight, they SHOULD drop below us.

Nice to see BYU in the top ten. How long has it been since the BYU basketball team was ranked in the top ten?



NM is going to be looking at this game as their chance to beat a top 10 team and to launch them into the rankings again. We're going to find out what this team is made of, it very well could be their toughest game. I haven't seen NM play, so I have no feel for how good they are.

I'm really looking forward to the game, but it looks as though my ward basketball team is practicing this Wed. I've always said playing ball is better than watching ball and routinely skip watching games in favor of actually playing the game. I think I may make an exception for this one. :D

How can you survive a sports season without TIVO/DVR?

I'm in the same boat Gunk. Probably healthier for me to play ball vs watch for 2 reason.



1. Exercise, which is hard to come by these days

2. I'll experience less high blood pressure playing, than I will watching, especially if it's a close game.



And my final reason for going to play this wednesday vs watching is I'm not even sure I'll be able to watch it. Unless I can find some link online, I'm usually out of luck. :sulk:

I actually don't have cable television, or any TV for that matter. Too cheap. It was either cable or the Internet and I went with the later. My parents, which live 20 min away, on the other hand do, so for games I usually make the trek up to their place. Nice thing is, if they're around then there's someone to help watch my daughter. :D



One day, I'll have cable and maybe a DVR too...

BYU finally reached the promised land of having both the football and basketball teams ranked in the top 10 in the same season. Kewl.



I think they are ranked about right. Let's see how they do on the road against UNM to judge how good this team really is. UNLV beat them, why not our Cougs?!!!!
