Projected Depth Chart on D?

Can somebody help me out in feeling out this depth chart for the defense



DE Wagner?

NT Fuga?

DE Putham?



SLB ???

MLB ???

MLB ???

WLB Pendleton



SS Rich

FS ????

CB Bradley

CB Logan





We have a lot of holes to feel on the D. Who are our linebackers? And who is going to play on our D-line?

Ogletree will be one of the MLBs. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bradley moved to FS and have Aguirre or Buckner take that other CB spot. Grant Neslon could take the other OLB with big pressure being brought by Kyle Van Noy. I wouldn't be surprised to see Zac Stout get some time too.

Soto will be a starting DE as long as he gets another year!

I fully expect Van Noy and stout to be with ogeltree and Pendelton at the LB position. Neilson is to slow and i thought he was a SR this year anyways.

I also could see bradley possibly moving to FS and someone filling in at CB, although Jray Galea'i could take that other S spot. He is a stud and has a ton of potential.

--Van Noy, Frazier, Tuitama all could slip in for Atkinson or Nelson. I don't think Stout arrives in time to get in early, but could work his way in late.

I don't think any freshmen get starting spots--the only one I could see is Van Noy who is in camp now. Bronco and Jaime are all about position mastery, especially on the defensive side of the ball. We have seen it happen year after year--we bring in better athletes, but they play second fiddle to walk-ons who play their role until those better athletes figure out the mental side of things.



Also--our favorite MMA athlete Jadon Wagner returns--he could be a DE or a LB for us, but I don't know where he will fall.

He's find a nice place on the end of the bench. He'll be a non-factor.

Nelson returns. He's actually proved himself to be a strong blitzer.

And has looked good in coverage too. I like what I've seen from Grant Nelson. One thing's for sure and that's that we will have a lot of young talent in our LB'er corps.
