2- OT Jamil Douglas, 6-5/245 (Cypress, CA). Now going to Arizona State.



3- RB Josh Huff, 5-10/185 (Houston, TX). Now going to TCU.



4- DL Perry Jackson, 6-2/250 (Sierra College, CA). Now going to SDSU.



5- ATH Darian Lazard, 6-0/170 (Pearland, TX). Now going to Houston.



6- OT Archie Muniz, 6-5/265 (Houston, TX). Now going to Mississippi State.



7- QB Jacoby Walker, 6-2/210 (Houston, TX). Now going to Arkansas.

In all seriousness I haven't heard why they've had so many. Is it because they are hiring coaches that are inexperienced?

If you're Utah, you can live with losing guys to teams like Arkansas and Mississippi St. But losing them to conference opponents like TCU and SDSU hurts.

aaron roderick and kalani sitake are supposed to be great recruiters (and BYU guys)... this years Utah class is more than mind boggling... some of it has to do with the resurgence of BYU but I mean Utah did win the sugar bowl and it hasnt' really paid off for them much.

I don't follow this closely enough to know for sure: How many has BYU had? Is Jamora considered a decommit?

This is hilarious to me! Mc Bride brought the Whitts and Steve Kaufusi on board to recruit, and to teach his team how to beat BYU. Now Kaufusi is back here, and recruiting better than ever! Its funny to me that the :utard: :utard: have to rely on former BYU players be competitive, and it would seem they are losing the race! :munch: :munch: :munch: :lol:

After the beating TCU put on Utah this last season, KWhitt decided to put a ton of energy and effort into Texas recruiting (which seems to be a mistake, as the Utes have REALLY slipped in their Utah recruiting). And now 5 of their 7 decommits are from Texas. Sounds like the kids down there aren't buying what Utah is selling.



Even worse, 4 of their 7 commits are to non-BCS schools. That's a crazy-high number!

My memory is fading, did Jamora actually commit? I didn't think he had, but....what was I saying again?

Every team has decommits. Even Florida, FSU, LSU, Alabama have had some. The key is to limit them to 1 or 2. BYU had Jamora this year, and that is it so far. Will know for sure come LOI day. 7 is really high though. that hurts.

I've heard rumors of decommits by Terrel Reese, a 2-star safety commit from Texas and Princeton Collins, a 3-star RB also from Texas. There was a discussion of this over on rumorboard. However, a couple ute fans confirmed the possibility, especialy re Reese.

Plus another kid, Shreve I think, is considering giving up college football in order to play pro baseball.

West Virginia also stole Kemeota (whatever) a couple years ago at the last minute. And he also failed academically. And recently shot down utah again after completing JC, despite the fact that his older brother played for the :utard: .
